There's a nearby nat'l monument I can visit soon

[VIDEO] The Pullman National Monument will open in the long shuttered Pullman Co. administration building and clock tower on 111th Street. I've listed places I'd like to share with you on this blog well this is one great place in Chicago that is part of the National Park Service that I can share with you. Hopefully I can do so before the weather really cools off.

The Grand Opening is today and tomorrow and sadly I won't be able to make it for that. However, this is a place to visit soon!

YouTuuba visits the Everglades Nat'l Park

I've only recently visited Florida - Jacksonville more specifically - and perhaps I can find other places in the sunshine state. Perhaps see a taping of NXT in Orlando. Perhaps check out Miami or even Key West. And then there's yet another National Park to visit - the Everglades. Another national treasure to record on my YouTube channel.

This time around however, YouTuuba beats me to it sharing online three videos of his trip there. Yesterday I shared his visit to Ft. Zachary Taylor when he was in the Florida Keys.

This first video he takes an airboat ride, think a floating raft with a huge fan propelling it through the swamplands - because I think the Everglades is mostly swamps, however, it's just so much more. And these airboat rides aren't exactly in the national park itself however [VIDEO]

YouTuuba Florida Keys Bridge Odyssey Ft. Zachary Taylor

[VIDEO] For the next hour you will see YouTuuba visit an old military installation known as Ft. Zachary Taylor which was designed as a coastal artillery installation. Effectively defend the American homeland from an attack by sea. It has something of a history during the Civil War although it seemed to have seen no action and was closed halfway during the 20th century.

As you see early in the video YouTuuba encounters some wild chickens which were descended from those chickens which were originally used for food or cockfighting. Now residents of Key West aren't allowed to kill those chickens so they roam around at will.

I hope you find this hour long video interesting and when he shares his visit to Everglades Nat'l Park I would like to share that with you as well.
