Live railroad webcam in Quincy, Illinois

[VIDEO] I've wanted to share this live webcam from Quincy, Illinois via Virtual Railfan over the summer. It actually started on May 21, 2020 and is located at the Amtrak station there. While you will see a variety of trains pass through here on a daily basis you can check this Amtrak train tracker to see when the next Amtrak train will stop here.

You will see Amtrak's Illinois Zephyr and Carl Sandberg - check the schedule - end their runs here in Qunicy, however you can also see those trains stop in Galesburg, Illinois where I also shared a webcam via Virtual Railfan on this blog during the course of the summer.

Here's more further information for those of you who are railroad geeks:

Quincy is on the BNSF Chicago Division/Brookfield subdivision from Galesburg to Kansas City. The station was built in 1985, as a replica of the original.

And here's yet another video. Virtual Railfan sharing a news report from Quincy about the new webcam at the Amtrak station. I suppose it was quite an event in the western part of Illinois [VIDEO
