[VIDEO] Today Mr. Beat compares the two Rocky Mountain and similar shaped states of Wyoming and Colorado. I've been to Colorado and barely remember the time my folks and myself stayed with someone they knew out in Colorado Springs. Other times I was just passing through.
Colorado has a higher population and is a swing state although right now it trends Democrat with a current Democrat governor. It's also one of the first states to decriminalize and legalize the use of marihuana.
Wyoming is a smaller populated state which trends more conservative or more Republican. It was the state that produced one of the more powerful Vice Presidents in US history Dick Cheney.
Colorado has the US Air Force Academy where young people can get appointments typically through their US Representatives or Senators and they can train to become future officers in the US Air Force and US Space Force. The education you receive at the academy doesn't cost any tuition and when you graduate you must serve your commitment to the US military. I don't believe this was mentioned in the above video.
The video does mention the national parks with Wyoming being home to one of the more well-known of the national parks - Yellowstone. And let's not confuse Yellowstone with the non-existent Jellystone which is the site of the many misadventures of Yogi Bear. (Boomer reference)
Enjoy this geography lesson from edu-tuber Mr. Beat. I hope you learned something new. :)
