What a difference a whole century makes? I think in colleges back in the 19th century you had to learn Latin or Greek and that's reflected in the Harvard Entrance Exam. I don't think I could even do the 8th grade exam in Nebraska in the 19th Century. Hopefully the teaching was top notch to take these exams.
