Daily Dose of Internet: Japan builds giant 18 meter tall robot

[VIDEO] When science fiction comes to life when you see this robot in Japan in motion though it looks like it's held up by some metal. It also looks like this metal is helping to control it's movements. I suppose for the moment we need not fear this big old monster.

Other things of note in this video. A man gives a toy car - the type of you car that can be ridden by children and use their feet to move it forward - a motor. He uses a remote control to control it's movements.

Also there is a tower in New York City built by AT&T which has virtually no windows. It's said to be used to store data which is the source of many conspiracy theories and because it's made of concrete it can withstand an atomic attack. Before the narrator said what it was I just thought it was a jail like the Metropolitan Correctional Center downtown.

Of course it's those videos and more for you to enjoy this morning in this Daily Dose of Internet
