The Neighborhood page is back!

As you can see the EveryBlock widget that used to be displayed on this blog is back. It still is currently utilized for the same 8-block radius around the now closed Shedd School located at 200 E. 99th Street. That radius also includes Bennett School and Harlan High School. Whatever date in the general community such as crime, news stories, or permits will be shown there.

Once upon-a-time in this blog's history there used to be a widget in the sidebar and perhaps we'll go back to that. I hope they get to work on the widgets as what's available now is simple although it's still useful. The widget tool that was initially released a few years ago had more functionality and hopefully they'll ressurect that.

In any event for now enjoy the return of the Public School Neighborhood page. If you want to see what's going on in your neighborhood feel free to use the search box in the widget. Just add an address, zip code or neighborhood.

Oh yeah, Public School is just an alternate name for this place I have developed over time. This blog could always be called simply Shedd School or whatever. Things always evolve over time! :)
